Community Support Services Coordinator – Sioux Lookout, ON

Full-time Monday to Friday, Health Benefits, OMERS Pension
Salary Range $63,793 to $72,300

Under the supervision of the Director of Community Support Services, this position will provide program coordination in the Adult Day, Visiting Hospice Services, Meals on Wheels, Congregate Dining and Supportive Housing programs based out of Sioux Towers in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. The coordinator is responsible for performing client need assessments, ongoing case management and leading a team to provide service in all available programming.

Post-secondary education in a related field and or experience working in healthcare is an asset, with emphasis on management/supervisory experience. The successful applicant will have knowledge of the local healthcare landscape and demonstrated ability to show compassion, empathy, adaptability and patience. They will be organized, flexible with their time and have the ability to work with minimal supervision, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable and competent with learning new software. You must have a valid Driver’s License and vehicle. Community Support Services is a team-oriented organization that supports all clients in all programming and the Community Support Services Coordinator is not only the team leader in Sioux Lookout, but also an important team member.
