She was instrumental in bringing LTC to the attention of everybody needed, and lead the lobbying so Princess Court could be built, and therefore take care of so many Dryden Area Residents here in Dryden, vs. being sent to places out of town such as Kenora and Fort Frances. DECO evolved from this \u2013 Dryden Extended Care Organization, and still today, more than 40 years later, fundraises to help ensure our loved ones have what they need, to live a full life here in Dryden at Princess Court. Inge has been the Chair of DECO all this time \u2013 she still is part of DECO, but has recently stepped back from the Chair position.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a1d9f2c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a1d9f2c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Income: Tuck Shop<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-062756d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"062756d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>We are open to the public \u2013 especially for Residents and Families to visit and socialize in the main lobby by the fireplace<\/li><li>Very reasonable prices for coffee, tea, water, all sorts of snacks &amp; ice cream treats \u2013 very cheap prices\/minimal cost for the users<\/li><li>Cash only please\u263a<\/li><li>Currently we are open &amp; have volunteers working Monday to Friday from 1-3pm<\/li><li>This is one method of income for DECO<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b7f76f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1b7f76f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Major Source of our Income is from Donations for DECO, from \u201cIn Memoriam\u201d: Where do these funds go?<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6e30d37 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6e30d37\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>DECO helps fund in several area of Princess Court \u2013 some examples include:<\/p><ul><li>The gazebo that was recently installed out front of Princess Court \u2013 many families and Residents gather under there for wind and sun protection \u2013 we had help from the Dryden Lions Club to install that\u263a<\/li><li>The courtyard between Princess Court and Patricia Gardens \u2013 again, a beautiful place to gather, and we purchased new chairs and tables, and umbrellas<\/li><li>Tables and chairs at the Tuck Shop for visiting in the main lobby area<\/li><li>Blinds for the windows in the Activity Rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors<\/li><li>New \u201cSMART\u201d TVs for all 3 floors<\/li><li>Special Tables in the Dining Room for Residents with wheelchairs to use<\/li><li>BBQs for staff to use for special days like hotdog days<\/li><li>Activity Department supplies \u2013 eg. New games &amp; activities &amp; general equipment<\/li><li>Special entertainment \u2013 eg. Elvis has been in the building!
